game last week was scary in the 1st quarter. The Eagles were running and
play-actioning on them at will, and it looked like the aberration against the
Ravens was happening again. It looked like the Defense was unable to play against
even the slightest of veteran QBs. Panic was starting to set in. With the
so obviously flawed Offense's inability to win a game on it's own, this
year's Super Bowl is contingent on a Super Defense dominating like they
did against the Rams.
But then the Defense
kicked the crap out of the still too young QB the rest of the game. It was beautiful. While the
Offense so clearly is not a Super Bowl winning Offense. The Defense
reclaimed their status as a Super Bowl winning Defense. The Pats need that
Defense to play like the best in the NFL for them to win the Super
especially. Dak Prescott is a similar QB as Wentz. Maybe I'm putting that
wrong. Prescott is a much more Veteran QB version, that is similar to what
Wentz wants to be. "We haven’t played
him. So this is the first time we’ve played him. But right now, yeah, he’s super
impressive. The way he’s going, might be more than that. Might hit six [thousand yards], I don’t
know," BB said. "This guy can throw the ball. He’s very
accurate. He’s got great poise in the pocket, stands in there. He can extend plays and run if he has
to. But he doesn’t do much of that unless he really needs to. He has great patience and poise, discipline in the pocket, gets his eyes down field. He’s a very good intermediate-to-deep ball-thrower.
"He’s got good weapons, but he’s been super impressive. Just, great, great quarterback:
sideline throws, inside throws, in-cuts, posts, over routes, flag routes, you name it. Possession passes on third down, best third down team in the league, best passing team in the league, most big plays in the league – I mean, I don’t know where you want to start, they do it all. And, he does it all. He runs options, he runs read zones, keeps the ball in critical situations, tough guy to tackle, makes tough yards when he needs them, so he’s really good."
yet, they play in a similar style Offense, run-run-run play action. But
Dak has mastered that offense, while Wentz is still trying to figure it
Pats haven't played them yet. So this looks like a tough game. But again
I'm not buying it. The Pats D stepped up again last week and destroyed the younger
QB, who is trying to play like Prescott in a similar offense. The weather
had a lot to do with it as well. But the forecast is saying that the
weather in New England is going to be similar as Philly last week: cold,
wind, and rain, and maybe some snow.
normally I would favor the team who has the run game in a weather game
like that. "Zeke, [Tony] Pollard, they’re both great
backs," BB said. "Zeke’s a tough back, downhill guy. He’s had a lot of big runs since he’s come in this league, way more than anybody else. He’s a hard guy to tackle. He’s got good
vision. Good power.
"Pollard is an explosive player. He can do it all too:
quick, illusive, good strength, good running skills, good vision, catches the ball well, good returner. Sometimes they play together. Usually it’s just one of them, though, but occasionally both guys are on the field. They’re both outstanding playmakers. Doesn’t matter which guys is out there, it’s a problem."
the Cowboys are a southern team, and not even that but a Dome team as
well. Is there a reality where a Texas Dome team marches into New England
in November in wintry conditions and beats this Defense, or this team.
Simply not physically possible for humans.

cowardly republican Senate closer and closer to the cliff.
