The Road to the Super
Bowl just got one week longer, and this team needed an extra week of rest.
No QB needed another week of rest more than Brady. His elbow was a mess
most of the season. It sure looked like he got used to overthrowing
the ball with his weak elbow, and now that it is better he is having
trouble throwing it normally again.
hope the Pats have to hang their helmets on is that they had the best
Defense for most of the season. But that hope seemed less and less likely each week of the second
half of the season. They need to get their mojo back, and maybe not go to
Cover Zero on every single play, when the veteran QB has figured it
is so tough to lose Home Field, up to the Champ Game.
"I’ve been hearing it for 10 years, Bill coming in here and he tells us home-field, experience, all of that doesn’t matter in the playoffs. And it’s
true," McCourty said. "Each year you see, like this weekend, you could see three teams, all away teams, win. You don’t know. It’s all about going out there and playing your best football, and I think that’s what it is for us. Last year, we had to go on the road to win to go to the Super Bowl, and we had no shot to everybody to do that. It comes down to playing your best football."
I am a believer in Home Field Advantage.
is easier at Home, but yes, it doesn't always guarantee victory. "So, Tennessee’s going to come in here Saturday night, everyone’s going to tell them they have no shot, Patriots don’t lose at home. They don’t care about
said. "They’re preparing to come in here and play us tough. And I think that’s what we have to match. All that other stuff is kind of thrown out the window.
How many wild card games has this guy played, or playoff games? You know, Tom Brady has more playoff games than everybody that’s going to suit up
Saturday. But that doesn’t mean we’re going to win. We’ve got to outplay these guys and we’ve got to do it for 60 minutes."
But the D better be ready for another Ryan.
Ryan Tannehill is a
veteran who has seen it all like the other SOB Ryan. "He throws a good deep ball. He throws a lot of intermediate
routes," BB said. "They have a lot of catch-and-run plays too.
So I mean, a lot of their big plays are not 80-yard bombs. But he’s thrown the ball very accurately and making great decisions."
Meet the new Ryan, he's the same as the old Ryan.
He is a clutch
thrower, and the best QB throwing in the Redzone. "They’re not in the red area that much. They score from way out a lot. But when they do get into the red area, they’re
good," BB underplayed. "They run it and they throw it. The ball gets spread around pretty
good. There’s not just one guy that they’re throwing to. They do a good job of getting the ball to everybody and they have, obviously, the best running game in the league.
"When you combine those two things and the quarterback,
the quarterback can move down there, too. But honestly, they’ve skipped over the red area a lot. For the amount of scoring they’ve had and the amount of plays, you know this is 16 games, not a lot of red area plays."
He is the best in the Redzone this season.
Just remember the end
of the last game with Ryan sitting in the pocket destroying the defense in
the Redzone, and making it look easy. This next Ryan can do the same
thing. Forget everything you knew about him. He is a one year wonder, and
this is his one year. Let's not make this year, 2020, the year of the
Ryans as well.
A Citizen! Not a Subject!
is as Fascist does. Beware American. President Fredo is pulling the
cowardly republican Senate closer and closer to the cliff.
I. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or

1st Amendment to the Constitution is the greatest paragraph ever written
by mankind. It is the truest diagram of how to ensure a free Country of
citizens survives. But is is also a list of what to attack when you want
to be a fascist dictator. President Jerkballs is attacking every article
in the 1st Amendment. Beware subjects, or you will be subjugated:
Baghdad, Iraq (CNN)US President Donald Trump has said that he ordered a precision strike to "terminate" a top Iranian commander who was plotting "imminent and sinister attacks" on Americans, adding that the decision was one of deterrence rather than aggression.
"We took action last night to stop a war. We did not take action to start a war," Trump said in a statement from his Mar-a-Lago resort on Friday, a day after a US drone strike on a Baghdad airport killed Qasem Soleimani.
Later, while at a Miami church for an Evangelicals for Trump event, the President said: "He was planning a very major attack and we got him."
The move marks a major escalation in regional tensions that have pitted Tehran against Washington and its allies in the Middle East, raising the specter of further regional destabilization. The strike, condemned by Iran and its allies as an "assassination," has been met with concern by European officials and the United Nations, who have called for de-escalation.
The Pentagon on Thursday confirmed the strike killed Soleimani, who as head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force became the architect of Tehran's proxy conflicts in the Middle East.
Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis -- the deputy head of the Iran-backed Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) -- was also killed, according to a statement from the PMF, which said the pair "were martyred by an American strike."
The Trump administration viewed Soleimani as a ruthless killer, and the President told reporters Friday that the general should have been taken out by previous presidents.
The Pentagon blamed Soleimani for hundreds of deaths of Americans and their allies in several attacks in recent months.
"General Soleimani was actively developing plans to attack American diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout the region," the Pentagon said in a statement Thursday, calling the strike "decisive defensive" action aimed at deterring future Iranian attacks.
The Pentagon blamed Soleimani and his Quds Force for attacks on coalition bases in Iraq in recent months, including the December 27 strike that culminated in the deaths of an American contractor and Iraqi personnel. He was also blamed for the December 31 US embassy attack in Baghdad, and in addition to the hundreds killed in his time as a commander, thousands more were wounded, the Pentagon said.
