a big week for the offense. They hit rock bottom last week... or two weeks
is a terrific blocker. He will make the run game better. The question with
him is can he help in the passing game more than Izzo. He has 16
career reception in 39 games. He had one career TD catch in 2017. But it
is not as bad as it looks, but it is still bad.
have a catch as a rookie. "He’s a bigger guy. Probably more of a
bigger [guy]," BB said. "[He] has blocking ability. He has been in the backfield. He’s played on the line of scrimmage. So, I don’t know. We’ll see how that all plays out."
Then he had two straight seasons of 8 catches and he hasn't played this season, so
he doesn't have a catch yet this year.
So he had
16 catches in two seasons, when he wasn't a rookie. "We haven’t had a lot of time with him,"
BB said. "But we’ll work with him and see what kind of role he can develop for himself. If there is
one. We’ll see." He is less than a one catch a game guy.
He is not
as good a receiver as Izzo is now. So don't count on him to be better in
the passing game than One Catch A Game LaCosse. But he can block. Now, they
can run a two or 3-TE set, and even put Izzo in the backfield to block
like a FB, and run some serious power.
Watson will help in the passing game. But I'm not sure how good a blocker he
still is. He is a 102 years old in NFL dog years. Which isn't a big deal, because they now have Izzo and Tomlinson
to block. Watson and Tomlinson can alternate on passing downs and rushing
downs to create some sort of Frankenstein tight end. Plus, Tomlinson
obvious had a lot of experience on Special Team his first three
offense got better this week. "It's awesome. He's had a lot of success in this league for a long time, and he's been here
before," James White said. "He works hard. Great teammate, great person, great guy to have in the locker room."
I'm still not sure about Watson.
But if can
still run down the Seam and get open, it
will certainly open some things up in the Slot for Edelman. "We had a roster spot. He had
availability," BB said. "Jak [Johnson] went on IR. So we had an opportunity to put him on the roster that we didn’t have the week before."
The Pats will need
someone to help in the passing against
the best news is that Harry is finally practicing with the team again. He
is the most physically talented receiving threat on the roster. But he is a rookie,
unlike Darnold. Harry will be such a valuable weapon in the 2nd half of
the season and the playoffs. He'll
be smarter and more familiar with the offense.
have caught more passes from Brady in a few weeks than before he went on IR.
"I mean, the quarterback and the receivers need to work on their timing, execution and
recognition," BB said. "I mean, they need to see the same thing from two different vantage points and that's really what it comes down to is the quarterback needs to be able to see what a receiver sees, and the receiver needs to see what the quarterback sees and be able to make the right decisions on different routes, against different leverage and coverage."
Harry has that unique size, twitch, and hands.
he reminds more of Gordon than any other WR. Both are built more like tight
ends than the traditional WR, but can run like WRs. "N'Keal, he's a talented kid and he's got a long way to go. I think the thing with a younger player is always you see some of the skills and talents they have, and you also see a lack of experience just manifests itself in some things that they make mistakes
on," McDaniels said. "But every mistake is an opportunity to learn and
improve. And that's the way we've got to think about that with all our players, especially the young guys, is when they make an error, hopefully that's a good thing moving forward that maybe we don't make it again.
"N'Keal flashed the things we've seen from him. He's a big guy that can go up and catch the ball. He's a tough guy to get to the ground when he has the ball in his hands.
Like all young receivers, there's a lot of nuances to playing that position in our league that are critical to being a good player:
releasing at the line of scrimmage, top of the route technique, finishing plays against tight coverage. Those are things that are all going to come with experience and repetition, and it's exciting to have an opportunity to continue to work with him."
"Really like the
kid," McDaniels continued. "He's diligent. He works hard. He's got a good
attitude. He's a good kid. So we'll see how he can progress moving forward."
just has to find a role in the passing game this season. "He's been able to keep up with
everything," BB said about Harry. "It's just physically, he needs to be able to show that he can go out there and participate competitively and at the practice level that we're at. Hopefully that's where he'll
be. But we'll make our final evaluations on that before we put him out there."
The question is can
the Defense keep them undefeated until the wide receivers can get back

Mr. QuidProQuo came out and explained how he helped to broker an illegal, immoral,
and #UnConstitutional deal with Ukraine, so #MulvaneyTreason and #TrumpTreason could
piss all over the Constitution that Republicans used to pretend to love,
but now just see the Constitution as old pee-stained toilet paper.
"Did he also mention to me in the past that the corruption
related to the D.N.C. server? Absolutely,"
#MulvaneyTreason said. "No question about that. But
that’s it..." duh-duh-Duh...DUMB!!!
"Mr. Mulvaney’s performance was only part of another extraordinary day in Mr. Trump’s presidency. Mr. Mulvaney made his remarks after he stepped before the cameras to announce that the leaders of the Group of 7 nations would meet in June at Mr. Trump’s golf resort in South Florida, even as he acknowledged the choice could be seen as self-enrichment. In Texas, Mr. Trump hailed a Middle East cease-fire that would cement Turkey’s goal of pushing Kurds from Northern Syria as

And on Capitol Hill, Gordon D. Sondland, the president’s ambassador to the European Union and a wealthy donor to Mr. Trump’s campaign, was implicating the president in the Ukraine scandal by telling lawmakers that Mr. Trump had delegated Ukraine policy to his personal lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani.
Mr. Sondland testified behind closed doors for more than six hours, the latest in a series of current and former diplomats and White House aides who have provided detailed accounts of actions by Mr. Giuliani and others related to Ukraine.
Democratic lawmakers are certain to seize on Mr. Mulvaney’s comments as crucial support of the testimony coming from other witnesses, who have accused the administration of improperly pressuring Ukraine and of sidelining veteran diplomats in favor of Mr. Trump’s political loyalists.
But the president did pressure Ukraine to re-examine discredited theories that Ukraine, not Russia, had worked to sway the 2016 campaign. Mr. Mulvaney’s mention of a “D.N.C. server” was a reference to
an unfounded conspiracy theory promoted by Mr. Trump that Ukraine was somehow involved in Russia’s 2016 theft of emails from the Democratic National Committee and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
