Offense has hit rock bottom. I hate when morons make statements to create
controversy and not analysis. It is a sign of the corruption in sports by
Twitter and small minds. Like when one moron said that Brady sucked in
this game. That is simply not true on all levels. But it could stir up
some controversy in Twit Land.
clear, Brady did not suck. In case any of you geniuses didn't notice, he
had two Undrafted Rookie Free Agents on the field for the entire 2nd Half.
Including Gunner, who made the team as a punt returner not really as a WR.
He also lost LaCosse again and the only TE left on the roster was 2nd year
TE/FB from FLA ST, who didn't play a down as a rookie, Ryan Izzo.
nothing at the skill positions except Edelman. "You go through practice all the time and they just put [the football] in crazy places and you just do your best to catch
it," Jakobi said about catching the ball every time Brady targeted him in this
game. "I kind of felt like if I dropped this one, I might not get another
one. So I made sure I held on to it tight." They scored 14 points in the
Gunner made the roster as a punter returner. "It’s huge," Gunner
said after catching his first pass in the NFL. "Obviously you go out there and expect to catch the ball just like you catch it in practice all throughout the week. It comes back to practice and being focused. Treating every day at practice like it’s a game and knowing you’ve got to catch every ball that comes your way."
I think this was the first game he ran patterns in a real NFL game.
He and Jakobi
were not expect to be irreplaceable factors in this game, never mind start
the 2nd half and play every offense snap. "Oh we’re up in the virtual room doing walkthroughs every day after practice. We’re the last two out of the building every
day," Gunner said about him and Jakobi. "Troy Brown is on us, harping on us, about being ready and being one play away. That happened tonight, one play away and we were in there. We did our part. We have a lot to improve on. We’re going to watch the film and see a lot of stuff that we can improve on and do better but we’re ready to go."
So the idea that Brady sucked in this game is so startlingly ignorant that
it betrays reality.
only won the game in the 2nd Half, he did it in a 3-WR set, where two of
the WR were Undrafted Rookie Free Agents, and the tight end was a 7th Round
was redshirted last year and is essentially playing his rookie season this
year. "It felt great. It felt great doing your job like everyone harps
here," Gunner said. "My number was called today and I like to think I did pretty well at my job. Tons of stuff to improve on, we’ll turn the film on. I got clamped up a couple times. I feel like I contributed well and did my part. We got another win so that’s all that really matters."
That is true greatness at quarterback.
know how Brady wants WR's to be where he wants them to be, when
he wants them to be, or else. "I’m always trying to work towards that goal of being where he wants me to
be," Jacoby said. "He’s been seeing me do that in practice and that showed on the field today."
That is tough for veterans to accomplish consistently.
a pair of Undrafted Rookie Free Agents really playing important minutes
for the first time in their ROOKIE LIFE. "Being a Patriot, they expect you to know what to do regardless of the
situation," Jakobi said. "We practiced those situations in the past, and it’s our jobs as
Pros to be ready for when they came up. When they came up, me and Gunner were ready. We’ve been waiting on our moment since we got here and I feel like we did a good job today."
They did a phenomenal job.
thought Jakobi was a draftable player, and had him rated as a possible Day
Two, but more likely Day Three guy, because even though he is built like a
Number One WR but is really a Slot guy. "I wouldn’t really call it pressure. It’s
football," Jakobi said. "It’s a game that I get to play for money and I love it. I’m doing what I
love. So I wouldn’t say there’s a pressure to catch this one or it’s over with. I saw it, I wanted it and I want more, so I had to take advantage of that."
Slot guys just don't go early in the NFL Draft.
pressure on these players was phenomenal, especially Brady. But as three
rookie guys, you can say they had more pressure, because they hadn't been
through the wars before. It was amazing that all four guys came through
with those added burdens on their backs.
next question is can they keep it up...
A Citizen! Not a Subject!
is as Fascist does. Beware American. President Fredo is pulling the
cowardly republican Senate closer and closer to the cliff.

to be a fascist dictator. President Jerkballs is attacking every article
in the 1st Amendment. Beware subjects, or you will be subjugated:

Republicans are completely complicit in Trump's Treason.

"How and why Ms. Yovanovitch was removed from her job has emerged as a major focus of the impeachment inquiry being conducted by House Democrats. And in nearly nine hours of testimony behind closed doors on Capitol Hill on Friday, Ms. Yovanovitch said she was told after her recall that President Trump had lost trust in her and had been seeking her ouster since summer 2018 —
even though, one of her bosses told her, she had “done nothing
Her version of events added a new dimension to the tale of the campaign against her. It apparently began with a business proposition being pursued in Ukraine by two Americans who, according to an indictment against them unsealed on Thursday, wanted her gone, and who would later become partners with the president’s personal lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani in digging up political dirt in Ukraine for Mr. Trump.
From there it became part of the effort by Mr. Giuliani to undercut the special counsel’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and push for damaging information about former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., a possible Democratic challenger to Mr. Trump in 2020.
In her prepared testimony to House investigators, Ms. Yovanovitch, 60, offered no new details about how Mr. Giuliani’s campaign against her was communicated to the president or how Mr. Trump communicated his demand that she be ordered home. But her opening remarks, provided to The New York Times, amounted to a scathing indictment to Congress of how the Trump administration’s foreign policy intersected with business and political considerations."
